The big punk rock one is called 'Soundwave' which had a stella line-up this year.
Everyone from Killswitch, Scary Kids Scarying Kids, City and Colour, Thursday, Mindless Self Indulgence, As tall as Lions, Fall of Troy, Incubus, The Offspring and about 40 more.
We also get 'The Taste of Choas tour.'
Then we have 'Homebake' which is just Australia Artists.
We also have the HUGE 'Big Day Out' which is mostly alternative stuff. Its mostly likely Australia's Biggest Festival. All the big names in music today have played there.
Other notable mentions are the 'Byron Bay blues and roots fest', 'Groovin the moo', 'Virgin music festival'.
We dont do too bad. We also get alot of tour bands.
In the last 5 years we've being getting alot more artists from both the US and the UK. We are starting to get recognized as a good music destination.
