Well here is a paragraph from a news release on 10th June - Australia, Italy, New Zealand and Portugal will be the first Vodafone markets to offer customers iPhone 3G for purchase on July 11. iPhone 3G will be available via Vodafone on contract price plans which will include great value data bundles. Other markets will follow later this year and full details of specific launch dates and price plans will be made available soon by individual Vodafone operating companies.
Customers in Vodafone's ten markets where iPhone 3G will be available can pre-register online in the next few days.

Ok If its gonna be released here on July 11 our friday... it means we get it the day before US lol. Which I highly doubt. So I think we will get ours Saturday 12th.
Also note - they said contract price plan... now that might be a worry in regards to price.
I havent been able to find anything more though... there has been no more news release regarding the iPhone as farr as I could find.
