I couldn't agree with you more. I've been a huge fan of Aperture since it's release, I've given Lightroom quite a few chances... & as nice as it is, the lack of 2 monitor support has been one of their biggest downfalls.
Although I was pretty much forced to purchase Aperture 2.0 (no support in 1.5 for the Nikon D300), it has been one of the best upgrades ever. One of the best, newest features is "Tether". It allows photographers to hook up their camera (dSLR) to their computer & instantly view the image onscreen each time the shutter is released. I'm hoping that on a later update, they will allow shutter control via the computer to the camera.
