Take YouTube Videos with you

convert flv file to mobile phone, iPod,iPhone, Pocket PC, PSP, or Zune

YouTubeRobot.com today announces YouTube Robot 2.0, a tool that enables you to download video from YouTube.com onto your PC, convert flv files to various video formats to watch it when you are on the road on mobile devices like mobile phone, iPod, iPhone, Pocket PC, PSP, or Zune.

YouTube Robot allows you to search for videos using keywords or browse video by category, author, channel, language, tags, etc. When you find something noteworthy, you can preview the video right in YouTube Robot and then download it onto the hard disk drive. The speed, at which you will be downloading, is very high: up to 5 times faster than other software when you download a single file and up to 4 times faster when you download multiple files at a time.

Manual download is not the only option with YouTube Robot. You may as well schedule the download and conversion tasks to be executed automatically, even when you are not around. Downloading is followed by conversion to the format of your choice and uploading videos to a mobile device (if needed). For example, you can plug in iPod, select the video, go to bed, and when you wake up next morning, your iPod will be ready to play new YouTube videos.

I've always used TubeTV, freeware and you can donate via their website.

TubeTV - YouTube and other flash video to Apple TV, iPhone, and iPod - Download and Export Software for Mac OS X

It doesn't look like you can queue with TubeTV yet, but it processes the files rather quickly. The longest file I've grabbed off YouTube was about 5 minutes long and it only took about a minute to process.

I did not realize the different software available out on the net for downloading videos from YouTube. Thank you for sharing your links. I have used a nice little piece of software called Tubesock. TubeSock - Save YouTube videos
It works for both Mac and PC. It integrates with Safari so that you can click a button in safari to download a video you are watching. It adds any additional videos to a que to download if you want to download more then one. The cost is $15 for a single user or $50 for a family pack. I realize it isn't free, but I highly recommend it for the safari integration.

Thanks for that Jeff! Have you used it a lot? I'm sure most of us around here would be interested in a review!?

wow, neat idea really... but I think about 2/3 too expensive... if there's a free alternative You really can't justify 15$ with the same capabilities... I mean, copying a link is rather next to no time... just musing...

I've seen lots of youtube converting software lately, there are even websites that do all for you, and free, can't find the link right now tough.

Great tools, thanks for sharing!
For PC folks, I've been using VideoToiPhoneConverter, which is also free.
