Who is willing to pay $70 a month?

Like the title, who is willing to pay $70 a month for the iPhone contract?

If you were wondering where i get the $70 from, the 2 year contract will cost $40 a month, and if you want unlimited data, which the "3g network" would be kinda pointless without, is an extra $30 a month.

If Vodafone turns around and charges me US$70 for my contract every month, I'll tell them to go shove it and head back to my prepay Sim card :3

I pay $70 NOW (including taxes/fees), and looks like I will be paying $85 - $10 extra for 3G and $5 for 200 texts/m - when I get the iPhone 3G...so it's actually more than $70 for the same plan (except for the 3G, of course).

$80 if I don't want the 200 texts...

I wonder if you can stay with the EDGE service and not pay the extra $10? Not that I would do that...

I wouldn't, I pay 20 bucks every 3 months for cellphone, that's pre-paid, and 40 bucks for walkie talkie (nextel) every month. I'm defenetly not leaving nextel, so I would say no on 70 bucks, that would be 110 bucks a month for me...

and Ouchh!

Right now i pay about $40 because i am an added line, which is $10 a month, and i pay $30 for unlimited data. I had no idea that all of you were paying MORE than what the iPhone service would cost you.

Back to research

Okay so I said "No Way" in the poll but I guess I would actually pay that The price to pay to have the luxury of the IPhone.

You can always opt-out of the data plan and save $30-40, but what's the point in that?

I'm 14. Mum will be paying the bill. I can't see her paying out 92 nz each month for me to have a phone.

This is a good example of the problem or the greed of AT&T and other cell phone companies. Why not institute a family data plan, instead of charging each one separately.
