Beware: Apple Phishing Scam
On July 3rd I received a very Apple looking email that was a phishing scam. Thankfully I did not submit any information. The email contained the following:
From: no_reply@apple.com Subject: Billing Problem Date: July 3, 2008 2:26:32 PM CDT Reply-To: no_reply@apple.com We were unable to process your most recent payment. Did you recently change your bank, phone number or credit card? To ensure that your service is not interrupted, please update your billing information today by clicking here , After a few clicks, just verify the information you entered is correct. The image inside the email was the old .Mac logo. With the 3G phone coming out the scammers are trying to get information from Apple and iPhone customers.

Yeah go directly to the official web site. For fun hover over most links in the email and see what the link, links to (url). If you hover and the link is just numbers or not with the official domain name, definately do not click on it.
