My wife and I invested in a Mac Mini, and projector. This way we can watch our itunes movies in non-hd format, and still watch our DVDs too.

Too right about the TV. Unfortunately I had already purchased a tv 2 years ago. My favorite dvd player crapped itself last week (its 9 years old) so I went out yesterday and purchased me a dvd recorder. HD component (i think that is what it is?) on it but no good if your tv is not HD compatible. However, I also purchased a 19" LCD tv for my bedroom which is HD compatible. Bleh.. Im seriously having trouble keeping up with the technology these days. Anyway, Apple Tv? never heard of it till I came here LOL. So, Im hoping I have at least 6 more years in my tv and who knows. I may buy an apple tv. Then again I may just go and use all the HD stuff in the bedroom.
