I read about this the other day... although hilarious when I pictured it I would have been much more impressed to read about Charlie Rose tripping, MacBook Air first.... and he got up with a few scratches, but his MBA got up untouched despite taking a face-plant into the ground. And then he opened it up, sent an email and went on his merry way.

ETA: -- that is one unnecessarily long sentence that is sure to make my Grammar teachers wheep --

It's like when you are drunk and fall over holding a beer. The only thought in your brain at that moment is to save the beer

I can remember one of my friends sitting in a rocking chair with a beer in his hand... the chair tipped over backwards, and he somehow managed to keep the beer level without spilling a drop. It was like his shoulder came out of socket or something, because his legs went right over his head, yet the beer stayed in the same place.

Hey, these wonderful little devices are just like babies. They are fragile, need to be fed, on occasion burp, and have moments of pure rebellion that make us cry when they don't cooperate.

And yes, there are the crazy few of us that name them... Quadra, Catherine, Lime, Grape, Guinevere, Mac, G4, Alfred, Tabitha and Twiggy... Then there are the really sick ones who have the future names picked out already like Jennnifer and Lilly. All for the love our Precious... must love Precious.
