2 External Monitors with my MacBookPro

So I'm sitting here this morning contemplating purchasing a second 23" display for my macbook pro setup here in the MT offices...

My question is this... anyone out there run 2 external monitors with a MBP?... I've been doing a lot of reading on it, and it is possible... Check out this interesting thread over at MR:

Being a creative professional, I get greedy for more desktop space. Seems the programs I'm using eat up more and more space as time goes on. Am I crazy or what?

Hey mayor!

I can fully understand Your hubris-like need for more desk per Macbook- but You should evaluate whether You can afford it- not money-wise, but resource- wise! connecting one of those 23" beauties to Your Macbook pro already has the GPU in a desperate condition- suddenly there's a LOT more room that needs to be processed and refreshed, not to talk of actually answering to the demands of the programs themselves...

But now You want to DOUBLE that space? I think with a desktop computer of the pro line this is even recommended, they have powerful displaying capacities, but the Macbook pro?

I would not want to trade silence my PB generally is in with any amount of desktop space You could think of--- just take this into consideration...

I think u may be right. Don't want my mbp to explode... and I do have a lot of desktop space really...

It's more of a want than a need I suppose!
