Gaming from Apple

Now I know there have been rumors from many sources a long time ago that Apple might make a gaming console, but no such luck.

Now with the iPhone SDK there have been several looks at the iPhone as a gaming platform. If iPhone gaming proves to be a success maybe Apple might join on the gaming bandwagon. What do you guys think?

I don't know very much about their iTV or whatever it's called But They should make that a gaming console as well. Then you could watch DVD's, Game and have your TV unit all in one.

I hate to say it but i really doubt that apple will come out with a gaming console. It would be a great idea and they would probably sell very many of them but it doesn't seem like thats something that apple would do.

yeah, if it would have the name Apple on it and have the same marketing campaigns, they'd have tremendous success with the console as they do with all their products.
who knows. I bet in the beginning not many tought that Apple will make phones, but here we are.

I don't think now is the right time for Apple to release a gaming console. Apple TV just got an update and still isn't doing as well as they would like. Plus we know how hard it is to find a video game for Mac. But give it time,
