...ok, back on subject - 8:00 AM vs. 6:00 PM...it's important to me because I need to take off work (which is no big deal) if it's 8:00 AM, but not if it's 6:00 PM. I guess they'll announce it soon enough...

It depends on where you are... if you have AT&T them they prolly won't announce until the week before. But Vodafone NZ has announced that all their New Zealand stores will open at 00:01 (12:01am)...

a week before? 4th of July? seems like a good date and would make for a pretty easy commercial for at&t too. (yes im american)

yeah I've been hearing multiple times lately like 6, 8, 7:02, 10, so i dont really have any idea when its supposed to come out but we should know pretty soon.
