I disagree...because there's more "proof" out there that it may be 8:00 AM...

Yeah I dont really feel like sitting in line overnight. If I want the iPhone it will cost me $400 because I'm not eligible for the upgrade and right now i only have about $260

You could theoretically sit in line and hope that someone buys your spot, then you will have the rest of the money you need.

hah I'm not sure that I'd get as lucky as that one kid and get an $800 spot. Its worth a try i guess!

I think my best bet is to wait until after the initial crowds roll in...sometime about an hour after the launch...that's what I did last year and I didn't have to wait at all - no lines, no crowds, walked in, walked out...with an iPhone.

I heard on the news a report that Apple may offer down the road a few months no contract iPhones on AT&T. The problem is you'd have to pay full retail of $599 for the phone to do that. Ouch! . . . But then compared to how much it would cost over the 2 years with the phone and contract for data and voice, which option is the winner anyway?
