Awesome

If Apple does this right, it would be the coolest thing to hit the market when it comes out. They should make the touch features of an iPhone available on it as well for zooming, etc. and that would make it amazing. I think once i saw it in person I would probably have to have one.

Has anyone seen that 'coffee table' computer that Microsoft (I think) has been developing? Basically it's a huge touchscreen table with full wireless/bluetooth capabilities. Place your camera on the table and it automatically detects it... you can just touch the table and 'pull' your pictures out of the camera... Looked kind of cool... I would expect Apple to go down a similar route... but make it aesthetically more pleasing, and easier to use.

i have seen it, it's just that comparing the two companies, Apple is closer to developing it, and, I agree, it would be much easier and more fun to use with OS X/Apple.

Yeah the Microsoft Surface. There are only a few out in production and those are in a couple casinos. You can place your credit card on it to pay for your bill. They plan for them to be in all homes. But right now it's like $5,000+.... I can't wait to see the blue screen of death on it

I have one of them. I call it the Microsoft Coaster. I put my drinks on it and it saves the table surface. I used to call it a Windows Laptop!

It is pretty cool, but it's pretty much to be used on restaurants, and to manege media I guess, not much of a real computer.
