CES seems to have an awful lot of home entertainment focus - seems to be a response to the Apple TV. Let's hope Apple has something cool up their sleeve - maybe a Blu-Ray Apple TV!?

Apple 'Blu-Ray' TV?

That's not too far-fetched. Been reading/hearing a lot of buzz about AppleTV over the past little while.

Put it this way - I'm not buying a Sony PS3 until I get back from Macworld.

You really think that a solution like this really finds customers? If You want a gimmick only, You'd pay nothing above half of what this notebook would cost- aside of the fact that anything short of a real "sensable" keyboard is not operational- ever tried to type a message on an iPhone?-) extreme comparison, but even the generic poor PhD is touch-typing, no chance to do that on a nonphysical keyboard experience- I tried that once with one of those projection keboards- typing worked fine when You loos at the keys... the moment You try to touch-type- BAM.... Just my two cents---

I agree with you mat on the whole touch-typing thing. It works well (at least for me) on the iPhone because you have your head down and you're staring at the screen.

Just thinking of trying to do the same thing on a touchscreen monitor with my head up makes me dizzy. Not sure that I can do it!

But luke might have a point there. Perhaps if there was a raised bump OR even perhaps a slight vibration/shake on the 'home' keys when your fingers go on them... That might help.
