OK, my first "newbie" question here - how do you install a set of icons on a mac?

What I've always done is this (there is probably a more elegant solution)

1. Open the folder where you have your new icons.
2. Select the one you want to use, and 'copy' it (apple+C)
3. Right click on the file you want to change the icon for... click 'get info'
4. Click on the icon in the top left of the 'get info' window... you'll see it kind of change color a bit...
5. Then paste the new icon (apple+V)

And voila, your new icon should be in place

same w/ me Sam... .STILL using them and can't get away from them ;-).... actually I discovered that in installer.app there now is an amora iconset for the theming software "summerboard" - iphone users know what I'm talking about...

so, the quickest way to install these neat icons to your Mac is to take a look at LiteIcon ,the free alternative of candybar (see also the posts here)

Then, all You have to do is get my
Amora iconset and install that... tadaaa!

Thanks Mayor - although I was aware of that approach...wonder if there's a way to install an entire set instead of one by one...

I'm not sure if you meant that sincerely or sarcastically...can you clarify what you mean?
