Talking an apple is an apple is an apple
Here are my first five attempts at customizing my Dock Icons. The apples I did not create myself but downloaded a set online (let me check the creator to give him due credit...... Benjigarner at DeviantArt!! YOU'RE AWESOME!)
and adjusted them this way....

feel free to use if u like (one of) them!

I uploaded these icons as PNG files and suddenly they are JPEGS?

well no, mr. Mayor (I love that name I feel like one of the pigs in Animal Farm)
I again saved the files as png, but again it uploads them as jpeg's.

Great job Z.... but I just imagine my dock full of apples... I think it distracts more than it helps... but then again, You got the different colours as a help... good point...

so, since I am stuck to my Amora iconset (see other posts here) I don't think this'll be the time to change, but the apples are nicely done... good job! May I ask with what You made the overlays? Lineform?
