Time Machine multiple backup drives...

Ok, imagine I have two backup drives, one at home and one at work... and me being a totally security-fanatic would like to use Time Machine with both, say, the big one at home for the complete backup and the small one at work (with a totally different config best case) for the occasional important file that went down the drain in todays hectic world...

Wouldn't it be cool? Has someone here an idea of how to do it? Right now I am manually backing up at work with retrospect and "time-machineing" at home... am fine with that, just curious for the sake of it...

cheers, mat!-)

mat, you know, I've never tried that!

Time machine doesn't allow you to select multiple drives? Would be cool if you could setup both drives in Time Machine, and then depending on what drive is connected to your system, it backs things up according to the profile you setup for that particular drive...

Exactly, just my idea... sadly enough until now I say save Your time for sth better, I can ASSURE you it doesn't do it yet ;-)... but maybe with network backup coming hopefully with 10.5.2 we're gonna get this as a byproduct of it...

We'll see what happens with 10.5.2...
