Hello
Hello Everyone,
My name is Nightfall4 aka Jeff to the people who know me. I have been a mac user for many years and have a few of them around my house and office. I am an active member of the local user group (CWAUG - Central Wisconsin Apple User Group) where I do a few reviews from time to time as well as demonstrations. My favorite computer is my Powerbook G4 1.33ghz named Guinevere. She is my work horse of all my computers just because she is portable. I look forward to chatting, learning new things and perhaps helping others learn new things in return here. Jeff

Thanks for joining us here. A big 'Hello' and 'Welcome' to you here! Our forums are still obviously in the 'early' stages of development, so I encourage you to post away and get the conversation goin'  Again, welcome to the site and I look forward to talking with you here! Mr. Mayor P.S. You mentioned reviews... I know a lot of the members here would be wildly interested in any reviews you have for the site!

Thank you for the welcomes everyone. I will certainly post reviews and other tidbits from time to time. I love writing reviews. I just wish I had more time to do so.
MadMacMat I love my G4 PB Guinevere. While I love her dearly I am already experiencing a problem running some software and videos on her. She is maxed out with 2 gig of memory and upgraded with a 100 gig hd.

that's the spirit, nighty! Actually I am not as far as naming my beauty, but her gender for instance is very clear ;-)...
the speed problem is quite an issue getting worse and worse- but I have no choice up until now... owning the 12" G4 I am double spoiled: being used to a full-featured small laptop that has a aluminum housing makes me REALLY picky so for now it's fine that my menu bar is not translucent ;-)... I mean even with 1,25gig RAM my babe is handling Leopard like a charm! Being used to the windows drawbacks I was amazed that some things even went faster with the big cat... so, finally congrats to You lucky winner from my side as well!
