Oops ! Looks like I forgot to introduce myself.
I've been part of plenty of Mac forums all over the net since 2003, always under the same username (so I'm easy to trace LOL).
My first computer was a Mac clone, a PowerComputing PowerCenter 150 desktop. It was blazing fast, cost $1,000 dollars less than the Mac equivalent and had a bigger hard drive (a whopping 1GB back then), faster motherboard and RAM, etc.
Then I bought a grape iMac from a friend but its analog board fried and since the cost for repairs was prohibitive and really not worth it, I got myself a spanking new 800 MHz G4 iMac with 17" widescreen and SuperDrive.
My current Mac is a 20" 2.1GHz iMac G5 (last gen) with 2.5 GB RAM.
Over the years, I've developed an ease with OS X. The logic of that OS just
talks to me.
I am still using OS X Tiger (10.4.11). We haven't bought Leopard yet and, from what I've read all over the forums, we're still not going to buy it, too many issues. So will wait for at least a couple more updates before we upgrade our Macs.
I went back to school in
infographie (= desktop publishing ?) over a year ago, am doing an internship and will be looking for a job very soon.
That's about it for me.
