I am sure you are loving your MBP and first mac experience. I was in your place a year ago. There are many mac sites out there, but this one is my most frequented per day.

Not quite shaken from my PC yet im afraid. There are few programs on the PC that I use that I cant transfer to the mac. Not only that...I havent had much time to either computers with being busy at work. I come home and im absolutely exhausted. So yeah, Im slowly learning on the macbook tho. Slowly. Yes its my first Mac Ive ever owned.
Thanks for the welcome everyone Hugs |

Take Your time... there's absolutely no need for hurry there- it will almost happen on its own...I would think that, as time goes by, You find alternatives that work on the Mac for what you thought only possible on a Mac...
the most hilarious experience towards that I had with a colleague from work, that thought You couldn't check Your mail with a Mac... that's extreme, I know , but with my conversion as well I thought that for some things I certainly will need a PC around... that lasted two years- but after my PC served only as a laptop stand and dust collector I disposed of it eventually... Reminds me of an interesting statement that came up during a rather emotional Mac vs PC debate: You hear of many people who switched from PC to Mac and never looked back... but for no apparent reason, the other direction is never talked about... makes me smile at times ;-)

I think this was a very valid point since especially those Mac->PC converts should shout louder than all the others how good Windows really is... so even if there are reverse switchers it seems they take it grudgingly...
and I can fully understand that, administrating a whole bunch of PCs in our department... <sheesh>
