Yeah that kinda sucks that it smudges right out of the box but mine is goin right out of the box to the case.

It's always sooooo difficult to keep your Apple products in their respective boxes, if you don't have a case right away. I didn't have one for my first ipod, and it's all scratched up. But since then, I've always kept my stuff in the packaging, until I get proper casings. It's tough, but worth it.

Nah i actually already ordered a case

And i bet there will be some (not so great) cases to choose from at the store.
