IPhone 3G Geotagging

I do love the idea of geotagging your pictures. Should make it easy to find your pictures for when you went on trip or something. Wish my Canon 20d done that.

I'd like to have the geotagging feature in my digital camera, but not that much on a mobile phone, because when I go on a trip I don't use it for taking photos

Thats true, but sometimes you take a snap of something good to remind you to take a better picture. This way you will definitely know where to go back to and take the high rez pic of.

I believe geotagging will provide a whole new dimension to social networking as well as blogging. Even though I don't travel alot I think it's very cool. Cool new iPhone apps will result from it as well.

Yeah, who knows, Twitter might even do an app, so people can post where they are at and their twitting.

I wonder why Jobs didn't mention this in the keynote? was it just recently added to the iPhones features?

I've heard about geotagging the day of the Job's Announcement, I think. Thats why I thought it strange that some of you didn't know about it.
