Honestly, it looks good but nothing that revolutionary in the world of tech.

Yea, it will be aswome, but I don't think it will be fore me. I can't afford it and I wouldn't get much out of it.

I think Apple is pushing it too much. It's not much better than the .mac service. I am actually disappointed in the announcement. But I will give the 60-day trial a go to see if it is really worth $99 a year....

MobileMe MicrosoftME

similarities?

Plus what is the obsession with clouds? Odd hahaha

LOL. I hope there no similarities, but that was funny.

I think maybe (don't quote me on it) but maybe the clouds represent like rain evaporating and going back up to the atmosphere and then back down. Sort of like the distribution of all your photos, calendar events, address book, etc.

Although I acknowledge that it depends on each person's needs, I have to disagree with you. When I first watched the WWDC keynote, I wasn't too impressed either. But after thinking about the convenience of NOT having to reread emails I've viewed on my iPhone on my desktop, or having to sync my phone to my notebook just to make sure that my newly added contacts/calendar events are on both, or not being able to have "sync'd" email apps across multiple computers, the idea of a service that will eliminate all these inconveniences is really compelling.

If you don't use a calendar, and you don't have alot of contacts, and you don't use multiple email accounts, then this is probably not prudent for you.

(And by the way - a free tip - I've gone in with a few friends to purchase a family pack, so it's costing us less than $40 each to use it when it launches)

Think about it. Perhaps you'll change your mind like I have.
