Very Impressive, 1,000,000th iPhone 3G sold on Sunday

On Sunday Apple sold its 1,000,000th iPhone 3G. Last year it took 74 days to do that with the original one. (Available now in 21 countries).

Very impressed.

Also worth noting are the 10 million apps that were downloaded in the same time period! Not that surprising, but nonetheless, awesome!

It makes you wonder. If they sold this many with this release, what will happen a year or two from now when the iphone receives it's next major update.

25,000,000 app downloads to date, over 900 apps now...

Talk about astronomical adoption...can't wait for the 2.0.1 update to fix some of the bugs.

I hate to admit it, but when the next iPhone debuts, it will take everything in me to ignore it.

That's how impressionable Apple products are.
