To be completely honest, once you start using the Mac OS, you really wont want to worry about installing Windows. Nor will you have any desire to. At least that is what I experienced.

Once I made the switch last month. Our old Gateway laptop is just sitting gathering dust. You have to understand though... I can do everything I need (programming, graphic design, word processing etc..) all on the Mac just like the PC. If I was still into Computer Gaming, I would be a bit hosed

I agree, but there is also the need to still function in an XP World at least occasionally.

im made the switch 6months ago.
i needed a laptop to replace my desktop PC.
i wanted somthing that was fast and easy to use.

i wanted somthing that would suit my collage lifestyle, my music, my recording, my movies...everything.

bought a macbook. love the thing.

i dont think i could ever go back to a PC or Windows.

you guys are really enthusiastic about Macs. I have to admit that before I came to this forum, I hadn't quite a good impression for Macs and mainly because I knew so little about them. But you really make me to want one
