I have always had a pc in my home since late eighties. I spent so much time recovering from crashes and freezes that I learned to live a life of complications. That is until last year, when I bought my MacBook pro. Mac operating system is so much easier, and user friendly and more stable than windows. I can't say it has always been smooth sailing with Tiger or Leopard but it has been worth the change.
Be somewhat wary of updates (yes Mac updates). I have had problems with some of their updates. (I am one of those "got to get the latest updates" freaks. |

Well I haven't made the switch yet really, I only own an iPod.
But I do get access to OS X via my cousin's Mac Book. The main reason for me to not do the switch is also the cost. And yes, I mean, just having bootcamp is like a huge step for companies to switch, but with the years they'll just stop using boot camp and go pure OS X.

I agree the main reason is cost so until my compy stops workin i guess i have to stay "unappleized" (for lack of a better made-up word) |

Well you could argue for a gradual change by having them institute some Macs with parallel and XP or Vista on it, that way they can still use their current XP or Vista license programs on Mac and train them at the same time for Macs.

Well its that easy if you want to spend the extra money to get Parallel or use the Bootcamp with Tiger or Leopard and get a license of retail version of XP or Vista.
