No problem. I had to learn to "get over" that within three weeks of purchasing my major purchase it was "less than top". Its not the fact that I bought it to be top of the line, but its the fact that so soon after I bought one, it wasn't so "latest" anymore. So now, I have learned to wait to buy it 1) after a major update or 2) after the June conference of Apple.

TY. Actually the household does have an 80G iPod Classic (its the wifes )

I forgot to mention it!

Also just ordered the 3.06Ghz iMac should be here in a few days

MBP is next on the wish list, was actually tossing about that or the iMac.

The iMac won out for now as I dont need that much horsepower in a portable environment. Problem is, I could use it at home in a Mac PRO! LOL

Decisions, decisions!

almighty! You really know how to put your light under a basket, Ren....

these are excessively many Monitors in one place- so tell me, is this really useful??? I sincerely hope that You're equipped with the standard set of one pair of eyes connected to one brain- what is this desktop real estate for? don't you tell me You never understood spaces until you bought an additional screen- so You decided to add some more....

Yes, it is extremely useful.

The 4 19" Samsung monitors are connected to my crappy windows vista box. There is no useful windows spaces app. It is very helpful when comparing images with some of the work I do.

The iMac runs independently of them. It however is connected to the 46" Sony TV for media(running OSXBMC, which you see on screen). Spaces on the iMac is quite a nice feature, but at times, it is better to have multiple displays so that you can display multiple images at one time.

Sure they are overkill for most, but they fit my needs just fine

see your point, sir! Thanks for the explanation, I sincerely couldn't make any sense of it...

Oh, and I like the biggy on the left... I bet it subtly hides pretending to be the glass doors of the drawer when it's off
