does any one else have any problems with this game im playin along and i get you have a high ping and then im pb kicked but i do a speed test and it says that my down is over 1.5 and my up is 256k up any ideas would be appreciated i have a core 2 duo i mac 256 mg vid card and i gb ram

Haven't played that one Wooky, but I think mabsey is more of a gamer than I. You might want to give him a PM to see if he has any advice.

Sorry - not really a gamer either (just got a few like Lego Star Wars, Call of Duty 2 and Defcon). Buy hey, hopefully this forum will build up a critical mass and some gamers will join.

In the meantime, can you confirm you are not trying to play wirelessly as that is always a bad idea (you need a wired connection). Also, 256Kbps isn't really that great an upload. On one of my connections, I get 384Kbps and another I get around 768Kbps.

Also, check that nothing else is running on your machine at the same time as you are playing (e.g. no bittorrent client, no iChat/Skype).

i'm a big gamer. i was unable to run this game until they released the patch that fixed things up a little bit. so a little clarification here: is it your computer hardware of your internet connection that is keeping you from playing this game? i play it fine with a wireless connection.
