From my perspective I agree to the doubts concerning the competition, since noone can be sure how many of 'em will remain faithful after not having won an iphone ;-)... which I fear, will be all except two of us ;-)...

from a perspective of being known to the Mac users I'd say this is already pretty successful! In spite of the danger that this is temporal I had very nice interaction with totally new people and enjoy writing in the forums a lot more than before!

Concerning the attitude: Mayor I think laid an amazing foundation for interested people to really dig in and have exchange on a very high level in terms of usability of the interface- all You want to do is possible, participation is easy for everyone and the posts are really on fire!

which leaves me to say big thanks to the mayor for the vision accompanied by the integrity and dilligence to make it real... I hope that You see this development as rewarding already and wish that this city will be better than anything You ever imagined!

I agree it is fun interacting with new people about products I love. But the real test is when the contest is over, who will stay and who will go.
