Nine Inch Nails

Ever since Head Like a Hole I've liked Nine Inch Nails, and my admiration has only grown with their willingness to try unconventional things such as allowing people to use GarageBand to amend some of their tracks and now, free downloads of their music.

We still need the record industries to stop trying to cripple iTunes and allow DRM-free content on all purchases from the Store, especially as we can't go to places like Amazon as an alternative unless we live in the USA.

While I agree to you that taking restrictions is an amazing thing for the music business which would result in much more creative energy, You might as well have a sudden overflow of artists with music being degraded to something not only affordable (as in free) but also worthless...

To be honest, I've never heard a song of them, maybe I have, but don't remember, I hear good stuff of them tough.

Yeah, that's great, and it's not only NIN that's doing it. I know that Radiohead did the same thing...

Cool

interesting question, Ben... I was wondering about that, actually, if You check the info on the metallica web site You find out that all tracks will be audible before release! So let's follow up on it, since St. Anger I am very curious to see new stuff from the Metallicats...
