Warped Tour
Just wondering how many, if any are attending Warped Tour this year...
I am haha this will be my third straight year...it gets worse every year :-(

Yeah we get heaps.
The big punk rock one is called 'Soundwave' which had a stella line-up this year. Everyone from Killswitch, Scary Kids Scarying Kids, City and Colour, Thursday, Mindless Self Indulgence, As tall as Lions, Fall of Troy, Incubus, The Offspring and about 40 more. We also get 'The Taste of Choas tour.' Then we have 'Homebake' which is just Australia Artists. We also have the HUGE 'Big Day Out' which is mostly alternative stuff. Its mostly likely Australia's Biggest Festival. All the big names in music today have played there. Other notable mentions are the 'Byron Bay blues and roots fest', 'Groovin the moo', 'Virgin music festival'. We dont do too bad. We also get alot of tour bands. In the last 5 years we've being getting alot more artists from both the US and the UK. We are starting to get recognized as a good music destination. Soundwave sounds freaking amazing!!! And Taste of Chaos is great too! I have noticed a lot of bands starting to get over to Australia. I wish I could go too.

Its a pretty cool place. i live just south of Sydney. pretty nice spot on the cost.
Coming to the US in June 2009. Gonna be killer. ive never been to the states before. Hofully the exchange rate stays good!

Thats pretty sweet!! Congrats on the new Apple store coming July 19th to Sydney!! The states aren't all they've cracked up to be HAHAHAHA

Hahah thanks, im actually going to be at the opening (hopfully).
Im really looking foward to the trip, mainly staying NY. Hofully catch some bands while im over too.
