Hi,
I have used both Indesign and Quark. I actually detest Quark....reminds me of a senior citizen wanting to hang out with the cool crowd......
I am now thank god using Indesign and would not switch back to Quark if not absolutely necessary. Because it's seldom I have to make booklets or other publications I stick with Illustrator because as the Mayor I am addicted to it. I use Photoshop too, but only for enhancing and working on photos. After a short period of avoiding the bezier pen, I made myself master it, and now I use it so much and with great pleasure.... man Illustrator just rocks, I always end up in a discussion with Corel Draw users !!
The thing that BUGS me though is that although Id, Ai and Ps belong to the creative suite, there are differences in "behaviour" in the different progams. for example when I transform an object in photoshop, hitting enter will finalize it, when I do this in illustrator it gives me the transform box. Same with command+D for placing objects in Indesign, this does not work in Illustrator.....CONSISTENCY, CONSISTENCY, CONSISTENCY Adobe developers!!
I would post samples of my work, but company policy does not allow that...
