Well, I'll get this section fired up with some conversation. I'm planning to pick up the Sony HVR-V1U HD camera later this week. This is considered a professional camera and shoots in 24p.

Once I've got 'er up and running, I'll post my impressions and talk about my workflow as I'll be using Final Cut Pro to edit. So I hope to be able to contribute some meaningful video content in the near future! Below is a picture of the beast.
