Upgrading iMovie

Hey all...
I've been using the iMovie 6.0.3 version that came with my '06 macbook. Lately I've been seeing newer really awesome versions around. Anyone know how I can upgrade without having to buy the whole new software, i.e. for free?
Thanks!

Sorry, purchasing the ilife 08 suite is the only way I know how to upgrade. iMovie 08 is okay. There are some features that are good, and others that were better in older version. I personally liked the editing features better in the older version.
