Well, first of all, I gotta find a way to get iPhone without having to change my current chip, I mean, so far, what I understand is that they are going to make you sign a new contract... you can't just buy the iPhone itself
That's what I've heard, hope I'm wrong.

I would expect you'd have to go with whatever carrier is carrying the iPhone in your area... Do you know off hand what carrier is picking up the iPhone where you are?
There are of course ways around it, but there will probably be drawbacks. For example, on Rogers in Canada, if you unlock the phone for use, the data plan does not jive correctly on the EDGE network Rogers runs... so you can use the phone as a phone, but any internet/email on the go doesn't work. You have to hook it up to wireless at home or office to do that. Kinda sucks... but that will be coming to an end soon. |

In new zealand our carrier is Vodafone. For some reason some people think that the phones will probably be priced around $700 - $1200. That doesnt sound right to me. At this moment we have no clue what vodafone will be charging but I seriously think it should match apples AT&T price. it will definitely sell for that price. If it does go for the price some think it will be as I said above. I wont buy it or I will see if I can get it from america. No one knows what plans vodafone will have tho. Some think it will be available on prepay. I find that hard to believe too. So much speculation going on around here lol
I will definitely let you know the outcome tho. |
