Why would you need a memory card slot? But for the other things that are missing, it's a shame

I can see that it might would be cool to have a memory card slot for like view or downloaded pictures from a digital camera's card.

Actually the "no memory card slot" dissapoints me the most. Because my dad has a 2GB micro SanDisk (SD) memory card for his phone. I think it would be pretty useful to add 2 more GB of space to the new iPhone.

And no voice dialing? I thought there was a mention of it. Oh well.

It would be nice to have the card to swap with other people to transfer stuff, but Apple is going too wireless. Plus I guess it doesn't really fit in with the sleek design.

Memory slot would be awesome, unlimited memory cards, pop in your 8 gig card of rock, pop in your 8 gig card with disco...
How is having a memory card NOT useful.

Wow an 8 gig memory card! Now that is what I'm talking bout. Not sure there is one but I'm up for it. It'd give me a reason not to buy the 16 gig iPhone!
