17" MacBook Pro

I've really enjoyed my 17" MacBook Pro 95% of the time, as its large screen real estate means working on spreadsheets or photo editing is a delight. However, the other 5% of the time, when I have to travel, it is a real pain (literally for me as the machine is quite heavy and I have a dodgy shoulder).

So, I may go for a MacBook Air in the autumn, sacrificing the screen size for the weight.

I want to wait for the autumn as I hope the MacBook Air will be upgraded by then, although my MacBook Pro has begun playing up, freezing on a few occasions. I think it may be something I installed recently, and the usual troubleshooting techniques have been unsuccessful, so I will be trying a fresh install this weekend (I've not done one since I bought the machine, so it is probably a good idea anyway).
