Chadaw - in reading this post & all the people commenting (& empathizing with you), you are coming across as a bit of a prick, you might want to tone it down a touch. You may be pissed at your MPB screwing up, just don't take it out on the people sympathizing with you.
... and just for the record, i'm kinda in the same boat as you, my MPB is going in for it's third logic-board replacement (overheating issues).

MBP Issues - with a happy ending
Well, I gotta say, Apple sure does stand behind their products. The MPB that I bought ended up being a lemon. After 3 logic board replacements (overheating issues) & 2 LCD replacements (with a third one needed) Apple took back my MBP & gave me a brand new one. I didn't really have any hassles getting it, they were quite apologetic & accommodating. So far, haven't had any issues at all with the new one.
They wanted me to get the LCD replaced one more time, but I told them that I just didn't have faith in this MBP anymore & that it was probably costing them a fortune in repairs... they quickly agreed. They even paid for my shipping costs back to Apple.
