Apple TV...Not There Yet.

While I'm amazed at the staggering 50,000 movies downloads a day figure, I don't have any plans to purchase the Apple TV probably because I'd end up spending alot more for the convenience of downloading movies. Anyone concur?

However, I think I'd be in trouble if Apple decided to evolve it into a more complete media center - with tuner capabilities or include a Bluray player - or better yet, both!

I thought about buying it, but i didn't find it to be practical. I don't buy that many tv shows, and if i had one i would buy a lot...then i would be poor

yeah, i think the apple tv came in an era when the world is not so ready for that

Yeah, I really have no use for something like an Apple TV right now. And I don't know anyone who does... I have thought of getting one though, just to install the full OS on it and use it as a Mac.

I agree, that would make it much more useful.
