From what I have read, there is improved sound and reception, twice the speed if you are in a 3G area. But in terms of operating system, the 2G will be able to download the 2.0 software. If you are not in a 3G area, you will probably want to stick with the original iPhone because 3G iPhone users have to pay for 3G data service whether they are in a 3G area or not ($10 more/month).

Well, there aren't a lot of new features included that we know about, but it's a heck of a lot faster, which is enough to get customers excited. It's also a little bit nicer looking, you could say: Apple - iPhone
